Stumbled across this on another forum:

AIC agrees to liscense
Live Action BGC

As if this weren't interesting enough, there was an update blurb with the following info added later:

Quote:

AIC's press release indicates that it is working on new animated Bubblegum Crisis plans. It is also planning to sell the live-action film remake rights for its other titles and jointly produce new animated
projects for them.

But to a Singapore company? That doesn't exactly bode well...

hmm. Maybe if they go up the coast a bit and get Jackie Chan as the fight co ordinator?

Overall, however, its got to be about the powersuits. This project will live or die, especially in the fans eyes, by how the writers use the suits and just
what visual design decisions are made about them.

Here's hoping they hire the SFX team behind Iron Man.

What I really loveabout that: They went with an actual physical prop but then added all the "technokibble" moving parts with CG, it worked out
seamlessly and beautifally.

Here's hoping they don't use their http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/ ... 04/1/.html]3-D with touch and smell technology on the project...

....

No, but I bet some enterprising sort will figure out a way to adapt that tech to the adult entertainment industry long before it achieves widespread mainstream
use.

All that aside, I just hope that the new animated BGC stuff is up to par. It would also be nice if it was in continuity with either of the two existing BGC
series.

Sorry Megs, my antivirus says that one of the advertisers on ANN is malicious so I can't see the article...

Bah. All they have is a single piece of concept art of someone who might or might not be Priss... nor is it a very large image.
