Anyone remember this children's book?
Because, well, it's a movie now. If done with considerable liberties. --Sam "What kind of corn soldiers are you?" 
Okay, I was obviously a child at the wrong time. I've never heard of this bit of inspired weirdness.
Gonna want to see it, though... -- Bob --------- Then the horns kicked in... ...and my shoes began to squeak.
The original book didn't involve mad science, or even really have any central characters; it was simply about a land where food naturally fell from the
sky, and everyone was happy... until one day the hamburgers and pancakes and stuff started to get bigger...  --Sam "I hate broccoli. And yet... I am broccoli." 
a very interesting take on the childrens book. It certainly has me interested, if only for the MAD SCIENCE aspect of it.
