It's like they took the art design from No More Heroes and made it into a movie. Sounds fun.

Poked around IMDB a bit, looking into this movie, and stumbled across one of those, "wow, I couldn't spot that" facts. The purple-haired girl -- Ramona Flowers -- is being played by the same girl who was Bruce Willis' daughter in the latest Die Hard movie -- and for the life of me I would have sworn they were two different actresses. It's probably a testament to one movie's makeup department -- although which one I haven't a clue at the moment.

As for the girl in question? Mary Elizabeth Winstead? She has some further superhero movie cred.

When I first heard of it, its initial credentials were the fact that apparently it's being done by the same person responsible for "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz".

And yes, based on the trailer this may become only the second movie I've seen in theaters since "Batman Begins". (The first being "Sherlock Holmes".)
