Are they real? Coooool!
I think you've got another piece of the Back To The Future viral marketing there, Rod. See my earlier post of the video of the Delorean in Argentina.

Maybe but rumours are suggesting that Nike are going to be releasing the real deal, in fact they might announce that fact today going by a BTTF themed PR-kit a sneaker-freak reporter has recieved. Don't forget Nike has a patent on the concept.
regarding the thermal camo:
very neat idea, and it will certainly work if you are against a background without any clear delineations, or if your observers are stationary and known. but if you are trying to hide against a highly mobile viewer (think those wonderful little drones the US is so fond of), than parallax and skew are not your friend. So there is limited utility to showing up as a car/truck/something else. Also, where are they dumping waste heat? But still, a cool tech none the less. -Terry ----- "so listen up boy, or pornography starring your mother will be the second worst thing to happen to you today" TF2: Spy __________________ Into terror!, Into valour! Not a happy cat. Note it went looking for the other human of the household to tell them what they're made to do.
Actually, it's a cat with a box fetish. See...

All Hail Maru, the Box kitty
I still reckon it's not a happy cat, but that's my read on it's body language. For to me, a cat with a tail moving like that means "Right! Leave me alone and I won't rip your face off!"

Oh, very nice. And the "making of" link connects to a wealth of interesting stuff.

The effort that went into putting this together is amazing. Just the transitions from style to style are amazing.

The Johny Quest clip was amazing. I'd forgotten all the little bits of scenery and action that were part of the opener. It makes me want to see the original all over again.

Get ready to relive some childhood memories...
Motley Crue's Tommy Lee goes for the crazy awesome:
- CD ETA: Smack the emperor! And watch the bones fly? Also, old, probable viral meme I simply missed the first bloom of while offline, but still amusing even though I have no idea who these characters are: -- "Anko, what you do in your free time is your own choice. ... that's just awesome. Especially the guy in snorkle gear, though the cat was good too. DO WANT!

CD, the characters in the Double Rainbow video are the trolls of Homestuck, a very involved webcomic that is over at MS Paint Adventures (WWW.mspaintadventures.com). Gamzee (the one in the clown makeup) is one of the Cloud Cuckoolanders of the series, so it kind of makes sense to have be the one singing.

Okay, the folks handling the Muppets at Disney right now?

For some reason there are apprently pony models available for the half-life engine, and so there are dozens and dozens of videos combining team-fortress and half-live with MLP.
