..so, Anime uses various closeups, action shots and ensemble shots of the characters in the show in it's opening, animation studios tend to re-use presentations they know work and popular symbolic imagery shows up a lot.
News at six? This is neither surprising nor especially noteworthy. 
But still fun to watch, if only to count how many sources you recognize.

it's a gutted hulk, little more than a bare shell with the engines and most of the internals removed, sitting there configured with full-flaps so the wings are generating maximum lift. And it's a very strong breeze.

Just add this to the list of examples of the idea that good music will survive what is a radical change in arrangement into a completely different style.
