RIP Mister Trololololo

Apparently the artist Eduard Khil passed away on June 4 after a stroke in May.
He is best known for the Soviet-era pop song "I am very glad, because I'm finally back home" better known as the Trololololo Song, or the Russian Rickroll.

I don't know why this makes me sadder than most celebrity deaths.

Perhaps it's just because he was an old guy having so much obvious fun with his inexplicable sudden fame.
