RE the Lindsey Stirling video, at the end it says 'featuring the 405th Infantry Division'. I don't know it that means the Spartans were a fan organization (like the 501st (?) Stormtrooper legion) or if they were real soldiers.
Also, when I first watched it on Youtube, I saw a couple amusing comments that have since been buried it newer comments: "We must protect Lindsey and the piano at all costs!" and "Lindsey has a minigun, your argument is invalid." This is downright magnificent. And the rest of the series ain't bad at all, either.
Caught an interview with the producer on Slice Of SciFi. Apparently, their intent was to film a scene where "Danerys" ignites the piano and walks into the fire with the dragon's egg (on the bench next to her in the first piano-playing scene), and emerged after just like in the series. I remember when my parents bought a Pong console for my brother and I when they first came out. And while we enjoyed it, I didn't really understand how ground-breaking it was. Watching Atom reminded me of that Pong game. This time, though, I have a basic understanding of the technology and science behind the production....and I'm....I'm....I can't come up with the right words.
