Mystery author and Catholic priest Andrew Greeley http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/loca ... 7800.story]passed away last night. He was the author of the "Bishop Blackie" mysteries, long a favorite of Peggy's and mine (and which intertwined with at least one other of his book series), the "Angel" series, and numerous other works. The first book of his I ever encountered was one of his few SF novels, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_Game_(novel)]God Game, some 25 or so years ago, and even though it's very obviously dated today, I still recommend it highly.
