I cannot remember ever seeing Alan Rickman do comedy...
... but here he is, with Harry Enfield, Eddie Izzard, and Vic Reeves, performing the classic "Four Yorkshiremen" sketch:

Official Guitar Hero Live Reveal Trailer

I'm having trouble imagining how they're going to stock real crowds to respond to the players, but I doubt they'll have a shortage of players willing to go for it, regardless of skill level -- whatever drives karaoke will probably drive this.

There's an episode of "Metalpocalypse" about that, Tennie. Somehow I think it's more metal. Or, at least more BRUTAL.
(For those who haven't watched the show, "brutal" is the adjective of choice for the members of the most metal band in the world, Dethklök. Usually delivered in a deep, gravelly tone by the lead singer, Nathan Explosion.)

One World Trade Center Elevator Ride Show Animated New York Skyline From 1500s To Now

I like the last few floors, where the elevator is shoving scaffolding out of the way.  And the brief presence of one of the Twin Towers... a bit of a tearjerker if you're so inclined.

First test flight of Blue Origin's New Shepard launch system
Which happened last week:

Blue Origin is company founded by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to develop a reusable vertical take-off and landing booster system.  Sadly, what this video doesn't show is that the booster recovery failed due to a hydraulic system problem, but the launch is still considered a success since the capsule was recovered safely.

Long-time Drunkards and Eyrie fen may recall, long ago, a mention of a certain video... which I happened to have found, recently.  I... honestly wasn't convinced it existed, but, well, the internet.  And Canada.  Oh, Canada....
CAUTION:  NSFW

Hm... the Yuku video insertion tool seems to be having problems with YouTube's new format, according to the error message.  Okay, so here's the link:

Well, to be fair, there might well be a better version out there -- this is just what popped up when, on a whim, a Canadian friend of mine and I went Googling for "I have to buy a new pimp suit at Zellers or The Bay."
After we watched it, I looked him in the eye and called it "quintessentially Canadian." He couldn't disagree. Smile
