Looks like Scott Glenn will be Stick. I think Vincent D'Onofrio will be the Kingpin. Looks good, but I kind of want the devil mask. The black Spandex looks a little stupid.

Direct-to-stream budget, so think the 70s and 80s hulk series vs. MCU. That said, Disney's pretty good about budgeting their low-end stuff, and Daredevil probably does work better with "Street-level" costume tech instead of the fetishy leather of the Kevin Smith take.

And hell, this is a teaser. We're probably watching first night out, and like the first Spider-Man movie, the "real" costume will be a later development.

I think the "origin story" collection I read long ago did have that kind of bandana mask in it.
And now the full trailer...

I love Vincent D'Onofrio as the Kingpin. I will watch it just for him.

Scott F! Mothering! Glenn. I'm in.
Set the way back machine to 1982... back when Scott Glenn was a proto-badass in the making.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083726/?ref_=nm_flmg_wr_29 The Challenge - one of the many ninja-esque films that emerged at that particular moment in cinema history. On the surface it looks like a typical genre flick, until you look under the hood. Director: John Frankenheimer Writer John Sayles Scott Glenn in his first leading role.Toshiro oedipal gerund Mifune (seriously - the only two period actor who could have been better in the role would have been Sonny Chiba (good choice) or Tomisaburo Wakayama (Universe explodes choice)Yoshio Inaba With martial arts choreography by Steve (not yet Stephen or cheeseburger bloated) Seagal! And to top it off Jerry Goldsmith did the music. Check it out; one of the great genre films of its time.
This is up on Netflix now.
