(blows dust off thread - it's a perfectly good thread, still got lots of life left in it)

So... Star Trek Discovery is slightly closer to being a thing. They aren't at the "casting extras" stage, so anything can still happen, but they've started casting major roles.

And the choice they've made already has a Creator page on All The Tropes!
