You know one time, I got to work early, before the rush hour. I walked through the empty carpark, I didn't see one bloody Prius or Golf. And that smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole carpark, smelled like.... ....speed. One day they're going to ban them. 
As someone very familiar with cats; yes they will do this. Generally if you really want a cat gone from its spot you need to carry it off. Or really annoy it.
Both of which come with a risk of getting clawed that depends on how much the cat likes you and how much it likes its current spot.
Even though I don't have the game and my lore knowledge is poor, I laughed out loud to this.
Please , please tell me this is on the sound track so I can buy it.

Also something I sympathize with.
I mean, I don't wish to deny other people their happiness, but the forced cheerfulness of the season? It's creepy. And it gets even worse when people demand that you are cheerful and happy too regardless of your actually feeling such things because it's the Christmas season damnit.
