I mentioned it in Plotpony, but just for the general notice, I've finally borken down and http://www.fanfiction.net/~dialnforninja]signed up at the Pit of Voles. While only minimally altered from things that have appeared here or on the Addventure so far, it is easier to find, and any spellcheck edit is a good edit. I haven't started putting up my two really long fics yet, but will soon. (Those being Team Explosive Youth! and Bubblegum Disaster) I've been doing one or two shorts a day so far, but will probably go by chapters for those, every other day or so, since they are kinda voluminous.

I was going to talk about how all the revelations have been foreshadowed, leaving little room for surprise in any but those with poor reading comprehension or weak analytical abilities. And all the big, canon-bending stuff is foreshadowed. I enjoyed those parts. I was also pleasantly surprised by some of the little details, foreshadowing or not, other things that popped out while I was trying to do the analysis to demonstrate that I knew all and saw all. (It turns out that I am not omniscient, despite my ego.) Potential answer: Because she said so in the Author's Notes some tens of chapters or so back? End of 32: 'In case anyone's wondering... in this AU, Zuko, the Gaang, and the entire Avatar world are smack in the middle of a Thirty Xanatos Pileup. And historically, every nation has been caught in its gears. Twice.' Keep in mind that as somebody who started out writing Gargoyles fic, she knows who Xanatos is, and IIRC, she didn't overuse him and have him carry out weak plans just because she needs a villain in the story. I think when she started out, she didn't use Xanatos as much because she had too much trouble pulling him off to spec. I think that Embers is partly her using that capability now that she has developed it more.
