Yes.
I said as much to the author when they posted it on another forum. It's the 'Where are they now' Epilogue just bolted on to the end that does it. It'd been an awesome fic.... so why ruin it with a bolt-on like that?

It did feel kind of rushed and forced ending to me as well.

My mom's brief take on upcoming Guatemalan Elections "In last throes of preelection activities. Much loudspeaker vote pleading."
It wasn't just that it was curbstompy - it's that the feel of it was curbstompy. the author included large quantities of "oh, hey - the enemies know that they're completely outgunned" and/or "oh, hey - the enemies think that they have a decent chance. They're wrong." Telegraphing the curbstomps like that.... I dunno. It really does take the tension out of it. On the other hand, the fic did have a fairly solid "Nanohaverse pretty much just wins when it goes up against Smoonverse" feel to it for pretyt much the entire thing, so...?
Still, I have to say that I found the end satisfying. Not necessarily fraught with tension throughout (though there were a few tense bits) but satisfying - and I rather liked the epilogue, myself.

The where are they now felt a bit like the ending of A's to be honest so at least he's keeping with the source material.
But I agree with werehawk, the last two chapters kind of felt rushed and lacking in quality, and the battles felt way onesided far more than they have for most of the fic.
Particularly the battle for Tokyo was a very big disapointment.
