After a quick discussion on discord, it seems, maybe, a seperate thread from the memes might be a better idea. Leave memes to their own space rather than trying to fight with them.

I love the smell of rotaries in the morning. You know one time, I got to work early, before the rush hour. I walked through the empty carpark, I didn't see one bloody Prius or Golf. And that smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole carpark, smelled like.... ....speed.

One day they're going to ban them.

This was from the local county fair demo derby this past Aug of 2021. The first shot was of my nephew and the car he ran in the compact class. He is a Weekend warrior in the Guard and a firefighter. The rest are just random shots of the event that I took. It was fun to shoot and lots of other shots if you want to see.

Pictures didn't show up in the post, possibly because they're hosted on Facebook. I had to load the pictures in separate tabs to see them.

Only now does it occur to me that the issue might be a browser extension that I have specifically to keep Facebook from tracking me.

The one 'derby' that had me ROFL'ing was the kiddie one. Those battery powered ride on's do what... 1mph tops?
