Amusingly, this is a real thing. Or at least the box is. I don't know how widespread the product line is, but some outfit makes these bogus product boxes as
prank gift wrapping -- you put your real gift inside one of these boxes, then wrap it. Now that I think of it, I haven't seen them for a couple years, but for quite a while at Christmas lots of stores near us like "Bed, Bath and Beyond" and Target would have a stack of these near the gift wrap section. Even book stores, now that I recall.
