Yes, I saw that. I was asking what Mamorian actually meant, because niether "a peach density" nor the alternate explanation of "a small but sharp, persistent pain" make any sense, and while "Danged Ornery Robotic Device" from that one Power Rangers parody cameo team in a Superguy mailing list story I read twenty-some years ago could work, it seems unlikely. Threads of Destiny is fantasy, but not giant robots superhero fantasy as far as I recall from the brief look I took before slapping into my "read someday" queue.

In general, the weird side dishes with which I accompany OEX listings* are taken from the infamous 2012 "Fuds" parody foodie menu perpetrated by three New Yorkers with way too much spare time ("A journey in food-taste from mouth to toilet, covering the expanse of the Greeko-Japo-Pan-American dining experience"). In this specific case, "gristle spray and a peach dord" are the accompaniments to "Triton-based Turms" in the "Ocean Critters" portion of the menu. As to what a peach dord is, or for that matter what turms are (Triton-based or otherwise), if I knew I'd be glad to tell you. Now you know, and knowing is half the Mandatory Educational Content Segment you're hopefully confused on a higher level and about more important things.
* And occasionally others. Like, my description of Silence is NOT Consent as "accidentally dropped in an AU stuttering with a Goldbug possibility" is adapted from the description of "Stanza cotta" under "Sweet Concluders".

I went to see if there were a new Beware of Chicken: Joyous Song of Yellow Rocks chapter, only to discover that it's got another omake.

It's not by Casualfarmer (although he was inspired to re-write one of the omakes), but it is a good AU story and it's hard to blame someone for being quite as good a writer as Casualfarmer.
