TFW you realize that your own computer monitor is bigger than the Enterprize's main viewscreen, in terms of how much of your vision it fills compared to the pilot/tactical console operators' position let alone the captain's chair. (And about half the actual dimensions, without accounting for being at arm's length instead of across the room.)

It would feel good, if I didn't get it specifically because my eyesight has degraded to where I still have to run it at 1080p and turn on large fonts and pointers, and the zoom-in accessibility function as well when I have to decipher a captcha

He's a Turkish Olympian, took Silver in the Mixed Doubles pistol shooting (though most of the memes ignore his partner).   This is apparently his third Olypics, though he didn't get a medal previously.

Where most of the other shooters had fancy eyewear or stances to help them aim, he just walked out in jeans and a t-shirt, casually aimed down the sights with his other hand tucked into his pocket, and the Internet went nuts over him seemingly casually getting the silver.

I love the smell of rotaries in the morning. You know one time, I got to work early, before the rush hour. I walked through the empty carpark, I didn't see one bloody Prius or Golf. And that smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole carpark, smelled like.... ....speed.
