Honestly, there's no point to me getting an AO3 account. Virtually everything I write would violate their "plagiarism" rules for having more than four lines of a song in it.

I know I have an account there, nut I'm pretty sure I've never posted anything to it, I just made one for the sake of being able to leave comments and read a few fics set to "members only."

Hora-hora mite-mite. Bubblegum Black, first actual chapter, 'Rough Seas'. I've got Revy playing the Black Lagoon theme song as she murders dudes with grenade launchers, I've ideally got the reader listening to it in the background, I've got the lyrics going in the text. And that's been up for going on three years now.

Or is it just that's a Japanese thing from an anime few care about nowadays (alas!) whereas you're referencing songs with more muscular copyright enforcement over here?

I regret not having posted much of interest beyond other people's ancient fanfic these days, I swear to god I'll get something cool back in the system soon. I joined the EPU forums on a whim the other day and I've been wondering if I could get Gryphon's blessing to write a UF bit In The Olde Style even as Witches at War or sub-stories of Order of The Rose are more important to the gang at large... which will probably become a timesuck against AO3-framed fics if that works out. Oopsie.
