I might have a go at John Henry.... if only because of the Johnny Cash song. If I can do something with 'do engines get rewarded for their steam?'

Rob,
You've updated the Wiki to state that People Up before July and August 2008 are First Fen, but A.C. isn't. First off, A.C. did several trips to both the Moon, Asteroid Belt, and some L5 stations (I always asumed that A.C. made the delivery of the 'Angels' personally) prior to this. In fact Prometheus Forge was claimed early June (after a number of 2 to 5 day runs to find the right rock), although A.C. didn't permanently move Up until August (He was getting equipment and setting up the initial living space).
How does this qualify?

Good question. Does A.C. want to be known as one of the First Fen?
Oh, yes - more updates.
I've been changing redlinks to stubs again:
The existence of these and some new redirect pages means we're currently at 72 http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... antedPages]redlinks. I believe these 33 pages on that list "belong" to still-active Fenspace Collective members: - A Series of Unlikely Explanations
- Frank Exchange of Views
- Leonard da Quirm
- Eddie
- Julian Bashir
- Roberta
- Ragnarok
- Wing and a Prayer Enterprises
- 1st Air Army Squadron A
- 1st Air Army Squadron B
- 1st MARS Company
- 2nd MARS Company
- Angry Marines
- Arda
- Cirrus X-3
- Complaint Department
- Hanoi Xan
- K-1 Vehicle
- Kaiser Drakken
- Koopa Kingdom
- Laika
- Laugh While You Can Monkey-Boy
- Leonardo
- Myk-El Miller
- NOMAD
- Shadur Houben
- Shuttlepod
- Sincere Exchange of Grievance
- Type-7 shuttle
- Toni (AI)
- VVS Factory Ga-11
- VVS Factory Ga-19
- World Crime League
This leaves 39 available pages for people to create out of whole cloth.
(And I've created a new http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?title=Kandor]disambiguation page, just because I could.)

Fair enough. I've just revised the page:
Quote:A.C. Peters is, as usual, a special case. A.C. had visited space as early as April 2008, but did not move into the asteroid that would become known as Prometheus Forge until late-August. While nobody would begrudge A.C. "First Fen" status, A.C.'s a private individual by nature and doesn't care about bragging rights.

I just tossed thirteen images onto the FenWiki. (Including one of Noctis Labyrinthus, as I recall somebody has some Infinities plans for the area.)
Since there are so many, I'm not linking them from here. Here's the list:
- "File:Alpha.jpg" ("road trip" to Moonbase Alpha)
- "File:Blind Io.jpg"
- "File:Blind Io gone walkies.jpg" (it looks to me like somebody crossed a telescope with The Luggage, so...)
- "File:Blind Io Radio.jpg"
- "File:Carl Sagan Memorial Station.jpg"
- "File:Coming in hot.jpg"
- "File:Ice Prospectors.jpg"
- "File:Mars Surface Exploration.jpg"
- "File:Mars Weather.jpg"
- "File:Mos Eisley.jpg"
- "File:Noctis Labyrinthus.jpg"
- "File:Telescope Assembly.jpg"
- "File:Wonderland.jpg"
Oh, and I put a paragraph into the Boskonians' writeup, bringing that up to the post-OGJ timeframe the rest of the FenWiki is moving toward.

I was gonna put the Panzer Kunst Gruppe there when I got around to expanding the information on them beyond a few lines in the Cyber Confederation page originally written by.... I'm not sure.
Unless somebody else is doing something there.
Okay... that picture of Noctis is just plain beautiful....

Just did a major overhaul to my character's page. So, what do you guys think?
I do know that I'm gonna have to fix Mayonaka's name on her character page, but that's the only thing that jumps out at me yet. This is just the first of a series of overhauls and additions I need to make.

Looks good, BA, although you might want to flag anything after 2014 or so as "Fenspace Infinities" territory.

I found http://www.spacequotes.com/]a page filled with space-exploration quotes... so I stole a few of them. These pages now have quotes across the top: - Heinlein Society
- United Federation of Planets
- Mars
- Artemis Foundation
- 4 Vesta
- Belters
- Interstellar exploration in Fenspace
- Luna
- Faction Guide
- Spacecraft Registry
- Biomodification (quote by Buzz Aldrin, of all people!)
- Jupiter
- Cislunar Space
- Venus
- Paratheo-Anametamystikhood Of Eris Esoteric (Yes, the Discordians' page. At least now I have an in-universe idea why they're in space...)
Oh, and BA, I tossed some crosslinks onto Ben's page. Hope you don't mind.

For those who care (both of you), the page for Odyssey now has a brief writeup of http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... #Mughi.27s]Mughi's.
More importantly (and since I was re-watching Aria last week), there's now a short page about http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?title=Gondolier]gondoliers.

Short is right! The page on Gondoliers still needs a lot of work. Once I get my ESWS knocked out I can make a run at it. Figure that if Fen made the Gondoliers, then it'll be pretty close to the source material, complete with the competing companies from Aria. Blurbs about the companies, notable Undines, and a few pictures oughta flesh it out nicely.

Quote:Figure that if Fen made the Gondoliers, then it'll be pretty close to the source material
On the flip side, it didn't take very long for the Fen to change Astroball from what it was in the source material to what it is in Fenspace, and it's impossible to have an open gondola in Venus' atmosphere or Saturn's Rings. Don't feel constrained by canon...
Quote:Blurbs about the companies, notable Undines,
...especially here. Joe Corcoran and the Pinafore don't fit anywhere near the canon, but he's one of the more famous Undines in Fenspace.
(Oh, and I was trying to come up with a good "inside reference" name for an Undine to match "Alice Carroll". Unfortunately, "Wendy Barrie" has already been taken by a stage actress, so that name's not available... Anyone have any ideas?)

I suspect that some folks have looked at the list of Stellvia Corporation's allies and scratched their heads, wondering why some of them were listed. http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... on#StelOil]Here's a decent reason other than "Yayoi's a Sammie" for the Senshi to be allied with the Stellvians. It's also an answer to the question "just how do we fill the gas tanks on all these flying cars, anyway?"...
(As for StellviaCorp's other allies: - The Warsies and the Stellvians were next-door neighbors back when they were both First Fen, and Kohran's practice-target drones blow up real good when the Warsies shoot them.
- The Blue Blazers work closely with the Nikaido Foundation.
- Capitalist StellviaCorp and socialist Soviet Air Force? That pairing makes no sense ... until you realize (a) what they both think of Haruhi, (b) where the Space Patrol's funding comes from, and (c) who the VVS' leader is dating.
- The Space Pirates... er... well, Noah is intolerant of ninja... but, yes, I've got to come up with something better than "the 'enemy' of my 'enemy' is my friend" to justify this one.
In-universe justifications for four out of five isn't too bad, right?)

Okay, digging through references both period and modern:
First names: Petra, Gwendolyn, Michelle, Giselle, Rachel
Last Names: Barr[ie|y], Darling, Llewelyn, Davies, La Galliene, Hurd, Wood
Mix and match and see if something catches your eye.

Not quite what I was looking for, but not bad...
Back to the FenWiki, I see that JFerio has opened an account there. Welcome to the madhouse!
For reasons completely my own, I've fleshed out the description of http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?title=Zeta_Tucanae]Zeta Tucanae somewhat. I've also stuck the "infinities" tag on all the star pages with Fenspace Infinities data.

I just mentioned a couple of gondolier companies based in Helium in http://drunkardswalkforums.yuku.com/topic/7671]this thread - Okar Guide Services and Orange Planet.
(Yeah, yeah - we all know where that second company came from. I'm just running with the idea...)

I just un-stubbed one of the stubs I promised to flesh out - the http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... f_Robotics]Vesta Institute of Robotics.
That's another one down, 14 to go on http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... _flesh_out]my list...
Edit: Make that 16 more. I just changed http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... Titusville]Crystal Titusville from a redlink to a stub, and I tossed the http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... al_outpost]Moon Kingdom memorial outpost redlink onto my list of pages to flesh out.
As long as I was in the FenWiki, I corrected an error of fact on the Titan page - it isn't the only natural satellite with an atmosphere, just the only one with a substantial atmosphere. Did you know that http://www.cbc.ca/technology/story/2010 ... n-co2.html]Ganymede, Europa, and Rhea all have oxygen in their trace atmospheres? (And, yes, I added the image in that article to the FenWiki. Since we don't have an article about Rhea, it's currently making the http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?title=Sol]Sol page slightly less boring.)
