Is this a glitch, or was some spam deleted?

Not a glitch.  I replaced text messed up some years ago during the previous change-of-ownership for Yuku with properly wrapped text.

The board's been around for a while, but not for that long... and I doubt Yuku has a flux capacitor anywhere.

It just plain refuses to load for me without even the benefit of an error page, save for Firefox's default 'could not open page' message.

It looks like you all had problems in the same window of time -- can you give me an idea how long it lasted? It may have been a brief server burp, which seems to happen every once in a while now, but if lasted longer than a few minutes it may be the big problem coming back.

So... it's still going on.  Since they're working on it already I'll just keep spamming their servers with my page requests.  Heh.

Last night, for approximately 8-10 hours, the Yuku network was unexpectedly off-line due to a failure of Amazon Web Services that affected not only Yuku, but many popular web sites like Quora, Pinterest, Dropbox and Heroku. Okay, the board looks stable and functional as of 12:30 PM Eastern. Yuku has the following up on its supportpage:

At this hour, our engineers are still working on sorting out the server issues that resulted from an outage at Amazon web services.

Four servers are still being worked on. You may still experience intermittent white pages, timeouts and lagging issues while these servers are in the process of being fixed.

Two other servers are nearly done.

All other server are fully up and running now.

The server maintenance will continue until all communities and profiles are completely back and free of white pages, server errors and lags.

We again sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and discomfort this is causing across our network. Please rest assured that our engineers are doing what they can to fix the issues as quickly as possible.

I've been noticing I have to refresh pages quite often, sometimes two or three times, else they go white.
It's fairly random, and occasionally I can browse for long stretches without issues.
It also seems to affect posts. If it happens midway through a post and you refresh, it clones the post.
That aside, when it works, it works.

Server status update June 18, 12:14 AM EDT (Eastern) 
Thanks to the hard work of our engineers, our servers have
been repaired and our network has recovered after the unexpected outage
at Amazon web services last Thursday night.
While some issues are
still being worked on in the background, everything should be running
smoothly at this time. You should no longer see white pages while
browsing or posting.
Search has not been restarted yet on C3 and C4.
If your community is on C4 and your search is not working, there is no
need to submit a ticket.

Should you still experience issues (other than search not working on
C3 and C4 communities), please let us know as soon as possible by
