I'll be there. ...But is that 10 EST?
With a full team of 8, how many runs would we need to pick up the Tuatha and Red Cap badges? It's the only chance villains have, I think.

Argh. My wife's family will be over, all nine of them, and ten to one they'll stay past ten. Grrr.
If by some miracle the house is empty of in-laws at that time, Kawaiiko-chan will join you, but don't count on it.

I'll do what I can to be there. Although with the satellite connection here, ping is a little bit high and I don't know how it will react to a full team mission. Shouldn't be that bad, I hope. ![[Image: smalldarksideoc5.png]](http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/5599/smalldarksideoc5.png)

As much as I'd like to join I currently don't have access to stable enough internet, or the necessary time, to make an appearance.

10 EST was my plan -- I have dinner reservations for my mom's birthday at 7:15, and that's going to take two hours or so.
If folks want, we can go for an earlier time Sunday, if more folk will be free then.
The whole thing is over on New Years Day, if I recall, so we have to do it soon.--

Well, the Client just crapped out on me, so it'll be a couple of hours before I can get back on. One thing about this satellite I have learned is that it takes a ungodly long time for the CoH Launcher to connect. Sunday would be good for me, if we can get a group then. ![[Image: smalldarksideoc5.png]](http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/5599/smalldarksideoc5.png)

It's scheduled to run through January 6, as I understand it.
No reason we can't stage multiple runs, is there?

No reason at all. After all, several of us have multiple alts involved.
And we need at least one Ninja run, as well.--

Unless I get sideswiped by an unexpected family obligation -- entirely possible when Peggy's whole family is back together for the holidays -- I'll be there.

Bring lots of Greens and Wakies. Maddie, Alouette, and Margravine did the 10pm run, and even with all the help from the bots and the boyz, it was a fairly lethal mess.--

I'll try and be there, and I hope I'll stay on this time. If I crash (Client crash, not DC), I'll be gone for a good hour or two. ![[Image: smalldarksideoc5.png]](http://img263.imageshack.us/img263/5599/smalldarksideoc5.png)

Aside from several TPK's, yes, we had fun...
We need more people with AOE attacks.

had a good time whilst I was there, VERY pleased with Dark Melee, not so pleased with Dark Armor.
Also feeling apologetic for the TKO I caused, surprised myself with how difficult it was to remember that I'm _not_ a tank at the moment. Embarassing, that..

Oh good, I'm glad you liked. I was worrying that Kawaiiko-chan came across as a bit too annoying.
It's frighteningly easy to RP her, btw. My only real problem in doing so is typing speed, of all things -- I would dearly love to do all her dialogue in third person, but it's hard to type "Kawaiiko-chan" over and over again quickly, especially in battle.

Third Person.

Bob, do what I did for Nogi: Bind some beginchats with "Kawaiiko-chan "
I had some rather convoluted presets for Nogi at one point:
This one has heard that...
This one wonders if perhaps ...
And so on.

"beginchat"? That's one I haven't come across yet. I'll have to go look it up. Thanks!

Yep.
For example, I use this on all my characters:
/bind L "beginchat /send "The Legendary" "/bind T "beginchat /team "
Which gives me the two most-often-used chat aliases, so I don't have to worry much about what channel the client resets my default to.
