Tales of the Legendary: The Movie Casting Call
Tales of the Legendary: The Movie Casting Call
#1
So, what initally started out as a joke trailer caused by my muse being altogether overactive, this idea has mutated into a full plot.

A plot whose cast is limited by my exposure to the greater Legendary and Infamous, though. [Image: laugh.gif]

So basically, I'm putting out an open "Casting Call" to any members of either group. The final battle will be cameo heavy, and(especially in the
Infamous) other parts may have characters mixed in as they dovetail into the plot.

What I'm looking for are "pocket summaries". Example from one of my characters:

Quote:

Inyme W'tin

Rikti infiltrator from the Restructurist faction, Inyme's been looking to avenge the attack on her people(and her mother's death) all her life. But
as she spends more time with her teammates and humanity in general, she's been having doubts about her purpose. Or maybe it's her growing
relationship with fellow teammate, Purrfect Archer.

- Generally taciturn, heavily concerned with personal secrecy

- Cut off from Rikti mindnet, resulting in extreme loneliness, but paranoia regarding other telepaths keeps her holding most that could alleviate it at
arm's length.

- Primary friendships are with Alice, though she's not exactly unfriendly to others. Just distant.

- Extremely paranoid around other telepaths that could unmask her.

- Has a considerable grudge against Positron given his Nemesis Automaton duplicate was responsible for her mother's death
And that's about it. Shoot em out wherever. [Image: happy.gif]

As a final note, this will be a "movie continuity", and thus strict adherence to canon is not specifically necessary. Consider it a show inside a
show. [Image: smile.gif]

Mag Flashlight

late 40s, married, tanker. Mag started out with an unholy vengance issue with the Crey Corp, but has chilled out. Enjoys the company of the younger members of
the Legendary. Good relationship with Terrence and 'Office Cordial' with Wide. Caretaker of Genau'Goeg.

-Generally calm, slow to anger, slow to stop angering

-Tough As Nails

-High Speed (Fastest Tank In The West!)

-Ice/Ice/ tanker, the /NRG part of the build is irrelevant.

-Cinematically speaking, plays like Ice/Ice Melee/Superstrength. Throwing Terrence into/through/on top of (or being thrown) is high comedy.

Genau'Goeg

This lizardy femme is a genetic construct brought to life by the , She's got some mental issues - namely, a Kheldian bond that's only functional part
of the time. The actual person inside the lizardy shell is fairly intelligent, but bloodthirsty. The genemods that made her what she is, combined with the
malfunctioning Kheldian bond, make it very difficult for her to express herself in language. Add that to her agressive tendencies, and you get..

The Strong, Silent, Terrifying type.

-Debtlizard

-More Agressive than Intelligent

-Flier

-Variable wing size, and NOONE NOTICES. (ranges from an 8' sweep to No Wings Atoll)

-Voracious

-Indiscriminate eater - to a point.

two of my characters who could show up:
Quote:Gamma Emission (Legendary):

ER nurse turned super without any choice in the matter. Her powers entirely center around the fact that for all intents and purposes she is a walking nuclear reactor. She has slowly gotten her life back in order with the help of Terrence (Terrence Knight) and Rhea (Emerald Blast), who aren't negatively impacted by the fact that she is always emitting. She views this life change as a chance to prevent people from showing up in the ER in the first place, and takes her job seriously.

• Is rarely seen outdoors without Terr or Rhea (or both).
• Sees herself as the brains of the Trio and is compulsive about planning for contingencies.
• Her radioactive output is directly proportional to her physiological state

For a much more in depth look into her head see here

Quote:Clank Patrol (Infamous):

Clank is a dimensionally displaced construct of Agatha Heterodyne. Her primary disposition is as a General/Battlefield Support, and she is equipped to carry out that task. She is mainly driven to return home (any additional forces she may bring back with her are always appreciated). Given that Both Portal Corps and Project Destiny are focused mainly on mirror worlds, she has largely given up hope of exploiting them to return home. Instead she has concentrated on building a large enough powerbase to conduct her own portal experiments.

• Always looking to make alliances with other powerful villains, or help the new ones (the best allies are those that feel indebted to you).
• Has a tendency to monologue if she feels that victory is assured, but is otherwise not very chatty.
• Will use the flaming wreckage of her own bots as projectile weapons if needed.
• Still doesn't get some of the intricacies of human interaction (she is a war machine, not a protocol droid).

He was writing this as we were fighting hordes of Romans...Tongue

Gen was made by a race called the "Dran'an"....they're kind of like Rikti with slight undertones of the Vazhilok - basically big, ugly
lizardy aliens with a penchant for genetic manipulation and "fleshcrafting".

Hm. Now *this* sounds interesting...

Quote:Rey'shal (Legendary)

An unwillingly displaced dimensional traveler Rey is still coming to terms with the possibility that she may never make it home. One the captain of a Sky Ship in her home, she and her crew were an active pirate force fighting against an oppressive government. She uses magic through song, and while her less powerful spells can be sung mentally, her more powerful spells have to be sung aloud at least to start them (such as her Singularity), and most of her lethal spells require verbal magic. She has kept the fact that she is creating truly lethal spells secret sticking to the non-lethal(game base) spells when under monitor.

-Taciturn, and resistant to open up, but will back the Legendary to the full.
-She takes strength from her name, which means "Impossible" in her native Syndan.
-She keeps a diary in her native language in one of the office rooms in the base on the assumption that no one can read it.
-Being use to serving as a leader, she sometimes finds it uncomfortable to follow another's command.
-Even after being a part of the group for some time, her only real friend in the Legendary is Terrence Knight, who continually pries at her shell.

Quote:Myr'tai (Infamous)

Myr is a literal demon from the Abyss. She joined the Infamous for the wealth of contacts that it opened up for her, but like most villians, is only concerned about her own 'wealth'. In her case, 'Wealth' means 'Souls", and she takes the time after every battle to collect the souls of her fallen enemies. Strangely, even though she is a demon, she has no intimidating attacks. Her poisions, while helpful, are nowhere near lethal on their own. Instead, upon arriving in the Rogue Isles, she began construction of her robot minions, who are lethal and loyal as one could wish. She chafes regularly at Recluse's limitations that keeps her from making hordes of cybernetic servants.

-Myr acknowleges her alegiance to the Infamous, and will aid another of the group, for either future favors, or the bounty of souls.
-She has admitted that she serves another in the Abyss, but will say nothing more about her 'Master'.
-While having the general appearance of a Succubus, she disdains them as inferior in intelligence, capability, and every other way.

Y'know I'm honestly surprised by the number of people Terrence has helped along the way [Image: happy.gif] The sheer amount of backup if he were hypothetically
incapacitated, would generate would make any villian shiver in their boots [Image: smile.gif]

Quote: Hexane (Infamous - nin/dark MM)

Heir to a branch of a small family of ninja, Hexane was born and raised in Sacramento California. She was promised in marriage to the son of a powerful
Yakuza, but tragedy struck on her wedding night when her husband stabbed himself in the back more than twenty times. Hexane was so distraught she fled to
the Rogue Isles to escape her pain. The disappearance of her dowry, and the contents of every bank account she or her husband had access to is, as she
maintains, a strange coincidence.

  • Sarcastic and generally amused by the eccentricities of her teammates and opponents. Unless they nearly get her
    killed.

  • Enjoys teasing people, especially Minuet Heisman nee MacHine, tough she's been threatened into stopping
    that.

  • Mercenary at heart, doesn't care about Recluse's plots, in so far as they don't prevent her from retiring
    to her own tropical island.

  • When she works with someone from the Infamous it's usually Lady Nogitsune or the kunoichi trio.

  • Can and will switch from vapid valley girl (around TechHead) to relatively proper Nihongo woman (around
    Nogi).

Quote:

HE-AT (Paragon Special Investigations - NRG/EM blapper)

The Heuristic Engramic Autonomous Tactical unit is a prototype developed to

help with PPD manpower shortages during the Rikti war. The prototype was

delivered late, and over budget after the war ended. After spending some

time in the PPDs traffic department she was transferred to the newly formed

Special Investigations division.

  • Statement: Stuck in a testbed mode so her speech is a little odd. Query: This isn't annoying is it?

  • While she has trouble understanding human reactions, as she tends to rationality not emotion, she isn't as
    robotic as she appears.

  • Deliberately misunderstands basic physiological and psychological differences between herself and humans, mostly as a
way of getting back at them for assuming she's just a piece of furniture.

  • Claims that her chassis and voice are female because her design team did not get out often enough.

Quote: Lincoln Memorial (Legendary - inv/stone Tanker)

Abraham Lincoln, former President of the United States, returned from the Afterlife (In Nomine style, as a Saint of Stone) to settle a grudge with Gerhardt
"Nemesis" Eisenstadt and bring him to some form of justice -- either in this world or the next, it's all good. Possesses and animates a scale
replica of his Memorial statue.

-Can't hold elected office (being legally dead and not in Chicago), but does work in City Hall in a purely advisory capacity.

-Seriously considering switching Superiors from David to Salem, newly-minted Archangel of Civics. For one thing, he'd get less hassle
about carrying an axe.

-Not happy with the current state of the Republican party. Which is something of a public-relations problem disaster apocalypse for them.

-Feigns ignorance of modern culture for humorous purposes.

-"Apart from that, the play was fine."

Quote: The Head of Nixon (Infamous - bots/ff MM)

"Tricky Dick," faked his own death and bought a cyborg life-support system from Nemesis. Went a bit crazy(ier) over the ensuing years and
attempted to "reconquer" the US, failed miserably, now working to build a power base in the Rogue Isles.

-Maintains a small group of warbots, refers to them as the "Cabinet of Crime." Bots are named after various cabinet members and hangers-on; the
names tend to change as they get wrecked and replaced, the lead bot is usually a Colson or Liddy.

-Cyborg body is fitted with an extensive visual/audio recording system to immortalize the Head's every action. Yes, this can and will be used as
evidence against etc. No, that isn't enough to make him stop.

-Extreme megalomaniac, and if anything getting worse.

Quote:Wide Receiver (Legendary- Inv/SS Tanker)
Orenthal Bronko Heisman was a relatively scrawny jock until his mutation kicked in, making him the towering slab of muscle he is now.

-He plays the "Football Jock" thing to the hilt, hiding a brilliant head for mathematics.
-Is most likely to trigger the stock line: "How can anyone that big move that fast?"
-Is intensely protective of his wife Minuet MacHine-Heisman

Quote:Bizarre Mouse (Infamous SS/Inv Brute)
Mutant whose small stature and rodential appearance belie his might.

-Played as a Bizarro/Evil version of Mighty Mouse
-Sounds like a 1940's Gangster Movie Gangster

Quote:

Numero Catorce (The Legendary)

Masked luchador from Laredo, Texas. Numero Catorce is the fourteenth man to wear "la mascara verde" - the Green Mask.

- Stalwart, loyal, respectful, and very straight-laced.

- Makes his home in the Kings Row barrio, where he is one of their local heroes.

- Does not swear unless he in great pain or the situation is extremely dire, and never in front of children.

- Bilingual English/Spanish and switches back and forth commonly.

- Affectation for brilliant green suits that match his mask when he is in formal settings.

Quote:

The Honest Gentleman (The Infamous)

Elegant and sophisticated professional thief and chemist.

- Carries a matched pair of high-tech pistols that he claims to have gotten off of a Malta gunslinger

- Generally accompanied by a collection of thugs.

- Dresses to draw attention to the clothes, not his appearance. Generally in bright colors, custom-made suits and tuxedos, with a matching domino mask.

- Hedonistic, stylish, and possessing an Old World charm. Similar to James Bond villains.

Evangelia (Legendary - Broadsword/Invulnerability Scrapper)
Real name: Raye Langley. Sixteen-year-old cheerleader-honor student-magical girl. Empowered and advised by an invisible British penguin named Alistair. Joined the Legendary as a kid sidekick to its established membership, got caught up in exams, came back and found she was the only member left and City Hall had decided she was in charge. By dint of pluck, drive and puppy-dog eyes she has resurrected the Legendary, recruited some of the most amazing talent available, and made it one of the top groups in the city.
- Imagine Minako Aino in Magic Knight Rayearth, with an inexplicable Evangelion flavoring.
- Latchkey kid who rarely sees her tech-industry parents, which makes keeping the secret identity thing at home so simple that it's boring
- Attends Atlas Park Regional High School with Space Mage (and a couple other folk in or affiliated with the Legendary)
- Not nearly as innocent as some folks in the Legendary like to believe she is.

Ooh, fun!

Quote: Emerald Blast (Legendary):

Rheabeth Samuels is a former US Army combat medic (psychological discharge), with suddenly (and inexplicably) acquired magic-based healing and radiation
powers that she believes come from her stuffed cat Mr. Whiskers. MAGI disagrees, but has been unsuccessful in convincing Rhea of this. Believes that the
voice in her head IS Mr. Whiskers; telepaths who make it a point to listen in will hear two distinct 'voices', but it's just Rhea's broken
wiring. Has settled into a steady relationship with Lisa (Gamma Emission) and Terrence Knight. Her therapist thinks it's doing her a world of good, and
hopes that it might help her out -- she has Abandonment Issues.

  • Outspoken and obliviously innocent, and completely uninhibited about things that most people shy away from discussing openly

  • Sees herself as the cheerful type, and goes to great lengths to stay that way, lest Mr. Whiskers lose control of his powers ("You wouldn't
like him when he's mad, trust me.")

  • Despite all experience to the contrary, she still seems to believe that she's protected by articles of war, and will charge into the midst of
things to help or revive a fallen comrade without a second thought.

  • Southern (USA) upbringing, still believes in good old-fashioned hospitality and manners, but by no means a conservative.

  • Typically seen in public with Terrence or Lisa, but also known to work extensively with Mag Flashlight, Pooky Da Imp, and Emet -- the last of which she
finds unexplainably cute for a walking hunk of rock.

And:

Quote: William Bishop III (Legendary):

Cantankerous old coot (actual and apparent age, late 50's/early 60's) whose primary motivation for coming to Paragon was a burning, deeply-ingrained
hatred for the Rikti -- his family was chased from Paragon during the first invasion, and in the second, one of their outlying attacks obliterated his
deep-woods home and killed his wife along with it. His powers, such as they are, are simply the result of decades of experience as a woodsman, survivalist,
and hunter -- though he has, in moments of inattention, mentioned a military background. Has an almost fatherly attitude towards most members of The
Legendary, even those who are technically older or more experienced than himself. Projects the Stern, Silent Type mentality, though privately he's often
amused by the antics of his teammates.

  • Unfamiliar with most complex electronics or computers -- if he had a TV in his apartment, he'd still have a top-loading VCR with an analog clock,
and would consider that too much hassle to bother with as-is.

  • Great-great-grandson (fictionally) of William Avery
Bishop, and cherishes the 'family tradition'.

  • Has taken a special interest in Purrfect Archer (and is inordinately proud of her accomplishments), and is the one responsible for the newspaper
clippings of her achievements stuck on the Legendary base refrigerator.

And then, As for me:
Quote:Amberlee:
Amber is a generally cheerful young woman, and perhaps one of the more notable Psions in the Legendary. Shortly after escaping from her home in the Rogue Isles (Which she remembers nothing of) and getting registered as a Hero, she met up with the Legendary, and joined their ranks. Through the Legendary she met Stephnie Jenova, and has since wed with her, as well as several other friends and teammates. With the support of the supergroup behind her, she has since become a powerful Telekinetic and Telepath.
  • Is always agreeable to assist where able.
  • Dislikes Violence, and uses her powers to make combat as quick and safe as possible.
  • Uses her powers as benign as possible, with out risking the safety of herself or others. The one exception being her ability to confuse those against her, were in she has no control of what they do when confused (although it is almost exclusivly to hve them in-fight)
  • Emet: After working with Terrence Knight and Mag Flashlight for a while,
    Amberlee began work to
create a massive Granite Golem and trained the power to
telekinetically animate it, so as to work along side the other powerful
tanks of the Legendary. The golem, named 'Emet', is nigh indestructible
and possess strength backed by the full power of Amber's Telekinesis.
Working with  'him' for longer pierods of time has given Amber much
experince upon witch to draw upon both in genral with 'how to Tank' and
more subtlties of how to strengthen and better control. The golem is
now a very notable Tank for the Legnedary.
    • While powerful and nigh-indestructible, it takes tremendous effort to animate, and is thus very ponderous and slow
    • When animating Emet, the vast majority of her focus goes to that task alone and is essentially cut off from using her telepathy for the duration.
    • Has kindled friendships with several Kinetics-based heroes that can use their powers to help speed up Emet. In the words of others "A Speed Boost Junkie"

Quote: Yukiyo

A magically engineered demonic hybrid, Yukiyo volunteered to become a member of one of the first teams
of magical girls working for hell. The circumstances that actually led her to accepting were so traumatic that her mind is a fractured mess that most
telepaths prefer to avoid. She has been semi-permanently assigned to Paragon City to monitor the frequent demonic summonings in the area.

- Cheerful, childlike and a bit naive.

- Although she is a good person, her values are pretty immoral. She, for example, sees nothing wrong
with killing someone who is too much of a threat.

- Has officially infiltrated the rank of Paragon City's heroes, but she barely tries to stay
incognito.

- One of her colleagues has infiltrated the Rogue Isles and they call each other fairly often for any
conceivable reason.
- Is completely unable to understand or
operate most forms of technology. She is, however, extremely curious about it and keeps breaking any devices she can get her hands on.

I also have a main villain, but he isn't a member of the Infamous yet. If you're looking for a thug mastermind who's an 'Economic
Redistribution' (bank robbing) specialist, you just need to ask.

Quicksilver Nano (Inv/EM Tank) Riot Force 6.1:

Quote:

Quicksilver Nano is a nanomachine built by the Crey corp that was originally meant to infiltrate and hack into buildings, computer systems, whatever was
needed. However through a fluke of her AI she gained sentience and managed to get away from Crey and into Paragon City. At first she was completely naive
and was very lucky to be found by Lady of the Peace and Sellsword. She learned very fast and patterned herself after Lady to try and fit in with the
regular populace, though her ability to shapeshift caused some troubles to begin with. Through help from her supergroup and The Legendary, she soon became
a first rate tank and is very protective of her friends and teammates.

  • Very friendly and helpful type, likes to do things with other people. Doesn't really like fighting by herself..

  • Still naive in some situations, but never has to be told anything twice. Her curiosity does make up for this but can get her into trouble every so
    often.

  • Psychic attacks are an extreme weakness due to her being a nanocolony.

  • Constantly in motion, whether it's jumping around and among enemies or running at the speed limit to get from one side of Steel Canyon to the
    other as fast as possible.

  • Does not sleep and does not have a true 'home' (ironically listed as homeless with Freedom Corps). If she needs downtime for some reason she
can be found in either the Riot Force or Legendary base.

Lady of Dark Silk St (Thugs/Poison MM)The Infamous:

Quote:

Growing up as an orphan in the Rouge Isles was not easy for Ana and her brother, but they managed to make it work. Between her brother's natural
ability to take anything in their surroundings and find a use for it, and Ana's mutant ability to manipulate chemicals within her body and her abundant
charisma, the two of them did alright for themselves until they were in their early twenties. Eventually she found out how well she could manipulate other
people and how far her body and her ability combined could get her. Her brother didn't approve of this and the two went their separate ways.
Eventually she opened a brothel with some friends in the same business as her in the Silk Street area of Mercy Island. Before long she had a very good
reputation and was having a full house every night, servicing everyone from the common thug to powerful arbiters from Grandville. She moved her business
into the Jackpot neighborhood of St Martial as it grew and left it in the hands of a few of her brightest pupils. Not long afterwards she was arrested for
prostitution but soon broke out from the Zig. Calling in favors she was owed to multiple street gangs around the Isles, she is now commonly seen with a
large group of thugs nearby and quickly rising in the echelons of villainy.

  • Her thugs are loyal to her to a fault due to her method of payment to them, their services to her for her ladies services to them.

  • Her charisma is partially from her ability to manipulate her body's pheromones.

  • Is very intelligent and has degrees in Chemistry and Socialism.

  • Prefers to work alone with just her thugs around her. Doesn't really trust anybody but her boys and her ladies.

  • She isn't completely evil and will help if she feels somebody is worthy of it, but she doesn't hesitate to take advantage of someone if it
will better her own position in one way or another.

Valles (Peacebringer) The Legendary:
Valles was a fairly shy, serious college girl who dealt with her ongoing loneliness and depression by burying herself in books and geekish pursuits and eating more than she should. Now, thanks to her bonding with an infant peacebringer not much smarter or more developed than the non-viable 'Photon Seeker' buds, she finds herself with a devoted SO, rising school grades, a scholarship, a dream job waiting for her, and her own listing on www.bestbodiesofparagon.com. The last of which is, frankly, more than a little scary.
  • Not quite comfortable yet with the whole 'I'm Bi?' thing, but determined to become so.
  • Likes to exposit
  • Very much of the view that heroes are engaged in serious business and should treat it as such and that honor codes and fair play are for games
  • Keeps a secret identity in order to protect her family, though her association with a number of heroes who don't in both aspects has made her worry about that measure's effectiveness.
  • Has the first clue what her new body does to any interested person in the vicinity, but usually forgets.
  • Prim, stuffy, and 'intellectual snob' are descriptions that she'd admit to earning; she's amused by how many people thing the first two also mean 'innocent,' 'conservative', or 'delicate of sensibilities' when in fact she's hippiespawn and has the moral code to prove it.
Brightsky (MA/Inv Scrapper/Blaster hybrid) The Legendary:
Samantha Corby is the daughter of two prominent heroes who fell in the Rikti War, concussion blaster Brightsky and his wife, pistol-wielding mistress of disguise Tira Siaz. As someone with a background in the service of the public good and with powers that had manifested very early in her life, Samantha served on the frontlines throughout the Rikti War despite her youth at the time. Despite being sidelined for some years for health reasons, the second Brightsky has since taken up her father's title and proven herself a formidable hero in her own right.
  • Aside from lifelong training and formidable willpower, Brightsky's only real power is the ability to redirect, cancel, or amplify gravity within her own body or a few millimeters of her skin. She uses the repulsion effect to amplify the force of her blows and to concentrate and then throw bursts of highly compressed air with enough force to act as blasts in their own right. Her game build is only an approximation of this.
  • Bitterly resents the Paragon City legislations that limit the way that she can use her powers on a Scrapper's license or how fast she's permitted to travel in the air.
  • Speaks and is literate in eight different languages, English, Spanish, French, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, and Urdu.
  • Very proud of her status as one of Paragon's foremost fliers, and reacts furiously to attempts to ground her or assist her against flying opponents.
  • Has a serious temper problem, though mostly provoked by attempts to harm innocents or teammates rather than mere insults.
Sachie Hanagawa (Str/Will Brute) The Infamous:
The Hanagawa ninja clan is known for producing perhaps the most delicate, the mostly lovely, the most seductive female ninja on the planet. Their name is, in certain circles, a watchword for deception, manipulation, and carnal delights, and aside from the lush figure and prematurely white hair, Sachie has almost nothing in common with the rest of her family. She prefers the direct approach and revels in open challenge and conflict, and gives her absolute loyalty to the teammates who accepted her rather than the clan whose standards she was never able to meet.
  • 6' 4", 225lbs, 46/28/40
  • Enormously strong, but also a very skilled martial artist
  • Though a disappointment to her family, Sachie did receive the full course of their training, and, though she rarely uses her skills in this field, has an excellent grasp of how to read and manipulate the minds and emotions of others.
  • Favors raijutsu and doujutsu, ninja techniques revolving around the creation and manipulation of lightning and earth, respectively.
  • Short spoken to a fault. This is a conscious mannerism; she can and will turn it off when it suits her to or when carried away by strong emotion.

Space Mage (Legendary)
Adrianne Casmir was just an ordinary girl, a high school social outcast. One of the 'smart kids', with good grades...but a well-deserved reputation for being...kinda weird. A bit of a nerd, a bit of a ditz, just one of those people always off in her own little world. That was before she became Space Mage. Researching magical lore for a D&D campaign, she somehow managed to touch the pure creative force of the human spirit. Now she wields that power as the startling sorceress of the space age, the cosmic chevalier, the Space Mage!
  • - Always cheerful, always upbeat, always talking a mile a nanosecond. Never seems to need to pause for breath, like, ever

  • - Speaks in a 'cutesy' hyperactive fashion

  • - Fantasy and science fiction fan, rabid convention-goer

  • - Permanently altered via raw magic. Her 'civilian' appearance is a glamour. Her 'real' body is now that of a purple-haired long-eared 'elf'. This did wonders for her, er...figure. This is why Adrianne's Space Mage costumes are skintight and fanservicy - she's really really enjoying her new superhero physique.

  • - However, she'd never, ever, never ever ever, admit this

  • - Dating Marcus Mac Hine, whom she fully intends to marry someday. Because she's also one of those girls who dreams about a house, dog, and 2.5 kids.

  • - Essentially a powerful 'wild magic' user - her spells are incredibly strong, but have no discernable structure. She literally makes things up as she goes along. Results are very unpredictable.
Superball (Legendary)
The original Superball was a street-level crimefighter, a member of the original Legendary. His real identity isn't publically known, but he apparently lacked special powers. He compensated for this with an irreverent sense of humour...and a pretty darned good right hook. The second Superball is a recently registered hero, wearing a modified version of the red-and-black costume. For the most part, the public assumes that Superball II is a protégé or former sidekick of the original. Superball II does speak as though he personally knew his predecessor, but he is...oddly evasive as to their actual connection. He avoids telepaths and empaths, and employs various techniques to block their senses. Those actually able to read Superball II claim that he has a great deal of respect for the original hero - but the overwhelming feeling is not admiration...but guilt.
  • - Superball II isn't actually a martial artist. It looks like he's one, but close examination reveals he's really a superhuman who's 'faking' it - his punches and kicks are sloppy; they only work because he has enhanced strength. He's not an acrobat - he's actually using short bursts of flight.
  • - Uses the same wisecracking banter as the first Superball, but there's something a bit...forced...about the act.

  • - Extremely paranoid about keeping his face hidden. Wears the mask at all times, freaks out if it's in danger of coming off.

  • - Real name 'Adrian Lai' - this does not appear anywhere on his hero registration paperwork. It would, though, appear in certain...other...databases.
Obsolete (Infamous)
Evil robots. You know 'em, don't you? Futuristic androids, advanced AIs, fiendish marvels of engineering. Then there's Obsolete. She was state of the art, once. In 1950. Now? Her ray-guns are faulty, her atomic engine leaks like a sieve...but she's still running. Somehow. And she's even managed to do the impossible: evolve intelligence in her primitive circuits. Of course, she's still Obsolete. "Self-aware" doesn't mean "smart". Or for that matter, "sane". Obsolete is the product of a bygone era, when the future was shiny and atomic-powered. The Atomic Omni-Bot 3000 was a household automaton targeted at wealthy buyers - a chef, maid and nanny all rolled into one expensive package. The prototype was also equipped with the cutting edge in ray-gun technology, so it could even serve as a bodyguard. In retrospect, that last design choice was probably a mistake.
  • - Usually has a tattered 'French Maid' dress and apron (plus little hat) over her bare mechanical frame.

  • - Has been loose for over five decades. Something of a legend in the super-powered underground. She shouldn't be self-aware. She shouldn't be functional.

  • - Extremely erratic personality. Occasionally lucid. More often speaks in random quotes from TV shows, radio commercials, and most recently, Internet memes. Presumably she installed a modem somewhere along the line.

  • - Always -kliks- or -whirrs- before she says something (-klik- "'ello, 'ello, 'ello!")

  • - For those sensitive to such things, she seems to possess a living soul.

I'm Terrible at writing things up so please bear with me here.

Terrence Knight

A hero with apparently many friends, often seen With Gamma Emissions and Emerald Blast, letting them lead him around as they please enjoying their company more
than he could express in words even if he gets teased by others bout being part of a hero sandwich *grin*. He's often seen working with Mag flashlight,
Pookie the Imp, Sometimes with Amberlee, but moreso her Golem Emet lately. Is constantly Picking at Reyshal to get her to open up and stop being so secluded,
the irony on this not lost to him as he once was a very introverted person himself. Lately He has taken a shine to the newer Supergroup Riot 6.1 most noteibly
the sabers as he'll gladlly go out of his way to assist them in any way he can. He's also been seen from time to time working with the darker
reflections of some of the legendary's heros. Smouldering Decay, Onyx Blast and Enynn. He's also been know to work with villans if the situation is
serious enough putting aside his dislike for evil in the faces of greater evils. Admittedly Isn't too keen on Psychics since his mind is unguarded and
doesn't like not being able to shield his thoughts, he's constantly worried about people reading his thoughts, but more imporantly he doesn't want
people to sense the overwhelming rage he keeps bottled up deep inside. He isn't proud of the violent past he's had so he tries to keep the seething
fury well out of sight and out of mind, but if pressed hard enough..his control may slip.

-All his combat powers are compleatly natural, nothing from other sources augments him. His strength greatly belies his size as he is capeable of
lifting multiple tons before Ki Augmentation, this is due to his discovering how to unlock the human body's true physical potential. The human body to him
is immensly strong its the brain that limits its strength but a knock to the head shorted that out and had to spend quite some time adjusting to his new
strength damageing and breaking many things in the process.

-His Invunerability is mostly Ki based except for his seeming Immunity to the harmful effects of radiation. He channles his ki into his skin,
muscles and organs to harden them against all forms of attacks

-He has huge stores of internal energy which quickly replenish even as he uses it, He used to be able to use his Ki for energy blasts and other
techniques but he is currently under limiters set by the Deity that brought him to paragon for reasons yet Unknown to Terrence leaving the young man Bitter
about that but its something he doesn't tell everyone.

-Can tempoairly overcome the limiters through force of will if things get truely desprate allowing himself to slip into a Ki frenzy (Which I'll
explain the effect to ya Ops sometime later as i'm running short on time here)

-On his time that he's not with Lisa (Gamma) or Rhea(Emerald) or doing missions with other legendary members He does demolition work for private
contractors makeing good money for only a few hours of work and with all the fighting going around Paragon theres no lack of buildings that need to be torn
down to replace with new structures.

-Now on his free time when he's not working, he indulges in his nerd side that he's neglected while stuck in a very D&Dish kind of
world. He has a massive game and anime Center set up in the basement of his house, its his guilty pleasure to go home, head downstairs fire up his large
entertainment system and listen to the Bubblegum Crisis soundtrack.

-Is usualy quite cheerful and friendly, even when he's being teased by whatever as most things will roll off his back, Has surprisingly good
maners as he will almost always say please and thank you, He eats enough food to choke a horse so alot of money is spent staying fed as his body burns off an
immense deal of energy when fighting hard.

-Has an excellent grasp of tactics and stratagies despite his constant put downs about his intelligence, is actualy much smarter than he lets on
to anyone and his mind is -always- running through potential combat situations. He was granted the gift to learn any spoken language within minutes of
exposure, another thing he keeps tightly under wraps so he actualy has a very wide selection of languages at his disposal

-His combat skills seem to be a mesh of self taught martial arts and street fighting (even tho the game system can't show that) that shows a
great deal of actual experience for hand to hand fighting, also extencive knowledge and experience with weilding 2 handed weapons, he has an apparent dislike
for ranged weaponry. He won't voice his opinion about them but will blatently refuse to use a gun or bow unless he has no other choice, instead prefers to
rely on thrown objects which he can hurl with frightening accuracy

-The shades he's always seen wearing are actualy high tech vision enhancers, allowing him to see clearly at night where normaly he'd not
be able to see anything also acting as a targetting system singeling out targets even in mass meele.

-Seems to be cursed with no direction sense whatsoever..He will get lost unless someone is there to guide him, especialy in caves where he
can't jump up to see where he is, on the upside this plays in his favor as he could very well show up somewheres unexpected just when help is needed. Best
example of his direction sense is for all thoes who are familiar with Ranma 1/2 :Ryouga Hibiki, the Eternaly Lost boy.

Terrence.

Lora'Lai (Peacebringer) The Legendary:

Lora'Lai is a Kheldian peacebringer, a melding of the former cyborg Lora Doubet and the Kheldian Lailumen'otoph.

Lora'Lai (or just "Lora" to her friends) most often comes across as calm, serene, and rational. Though she is
certainly not unemotional. The experience of her ancient Kheldian side lends a perspective and wisdom that belies her apparent age. At the same time, she looks
on the world with new eyes. The Kheldian's experiences temper some of Lora's
faults while her memories help the Kheldian warrior and scholar open up. They truly were a perfect meld, and there
really is no "Lora Doubet" or "Lailumen'otoph" as separate
personalities anymore, they truly are one being named Lora'Lai now.

She has stated repeatedly she has no wish to be a leader, but does her best to back up Evangelia and Shizuru and make their
jobs easier, offering strategic and tactical advice and logistical support. She is the perfect second-in-command or "majordomo". However, despite her
discomfort in leadership roles, Lora has taken tactical leadership more than once and lead teams efficiently and successfully when no other options were
available. Evangelia realized that Lora'Lai was vital to the re-organization and re-building of The Legendary, and quickly bumped her to her position as
one of the co-leaders of the group and Primary Base Architect. She is still somewhat uncomfortable in her role as "one of the top three" however and
defers to the others whenever possible. Whether this discomfort arises from her human or kheldian side she prefers not to say.
  • She has a quirky, referential sense of humor, and is quick with a laugh or a smile. But tends not to "combat quip", instead, honing her
concentration on the battle and keeping careful track of situational awareness and calling out targets of opportunity. She doesn't begrudge others if
they have the inclination to talk or joke during a fight, she even enjoys teammate Superball's antics. She simply wants to devote her mental resources to
    more important things.
  • As befits a Kheldian with powers over light and energy, Lora'Lai can sense power flows on an instinctive level. She can "see" and
"hear" various TV and radio signals, but can only understand information from analog broadcasts. She can "hear" digital cellphone
signals, but only as a stream of binary pulses, and she cannot translate that into anything coherent. Since the Paragon Police Department (PPD) uses digital
signals to it's issued communicators, she must carry one with her physically in order to access the system.
  • Her "energy senses" have allowed her to tweak the power flow from the generator of the Legendary base, giving increased efficiency.
  • Lora'Lai is also accomplished with computer systems and tries to keep her knowledge as up-to-date as possible.
  • She also has an eye for design and in addition to the architecture of the base, she also designed the groups standard uniform.
  • Like all Kheldians, Lora'Lai can be quickly felled by Quantum Array weaponry and other sources of Nicti energy that is specially tuned to interfere
with the energy matrix of a Kheldian. Lora has learned to quickly spot Quantum Array guns in the hands of the various villain groups, and takes the
miscreants carrying them out first or points them out to her teammates for them to deal with. Against Nictus Void Hunters and Void Stalkers, Lora is
merciless, and if alone, she will attack wildly, shifting to White Dwarf form if need be to survive close combat in order to smash them.

Cyberman 8 (MA/SR Scrapper) The Legendary:

1963 -- Murdered by criminals, PPD Detective Peter Brady's body was retrieved be Professor Tani and taken to his
laboratory. There, Tani performed an experiment that had failed 7 times in the past. This time, the experiment was successful! Brady was reborn as the
superpowered android Cyberman 8, able to dash at incredible speeds and hit with the force of a sonic boom! Brady dedicated himself anew to fighting injustice
in Paragon City. Successful for many years, Cyberman 8 mysteriously vanished in the early 70s.

2006 -- Excavators in Overbrook found the remains of Cyberman 8 in the partially collapsed ruins of an old supervillain lair.
Taken to D.A.T.A., he was repaired and upgraded with new technology to renew his fight against crime!

Cyberman 8 comes across very much like a "normal Joe". He steadfastly got over most of the existential angst over
his artificial body years ago and came to terms with it. At first, he suppressed much of his outward humanity, though inwardly he was distraught over his
perceived "inhumanity" for many years. Later, after an adventure to a mystical realm that proved to him that he still had a human soul, he
acknowledged his feelings and firmly decided that, although his body and brain were constructed, he himself was still, in any sense that mattered, still
human.

Although still very serious when dealing with villains, he can also crack the occasional joke with a teammate and has an
ironic, dry sense of humor. He is quietly fascinated with the way the world has changed since he last saw it. Personal computers are something completely new
to him, but he takes some pleasure in the fact that he is uniquely suited to learn about them!

In fact, for an android with a positronic brain, he sometimes comes across as a very old-fashioned kind of guy. Almost
chivalrous in the classic sense to women, at least by modern standards. He's occasionally shocked by some of the skimpier fashions some Heroines choose to
wear. (Though he'd never actually express any disapproval. He just chalks it up as yet another in the long list of things he's had to get used to.)

Only one thing brings him into a melancholy state - the fact that most of the people he knew and worked with in his old life
are now old or passed away. He used to depend on Professor Tani for support and technical advice, but he was an old man even back in the 1960s, and is long
passed away now.

He is quickly gaining new friends in the Hero community of Paragon City however. There are so many more heroes now than there
were in his old life. He feels much less alone these days most of the time.
  • Although not formally trained, Cyberman 8 can remember what he sees with photographic accuracy if he wishes. He has practiced and incorporated several
moves and attacks from Heroes he has worked with and villains he has fought into his own style of fighting. One of these is a vibratory technique called
"Hertza Haeon" which if performed correctly, will stun even the most powerful of beings momentarily. In combat, he is highly mobile, switching from
one opponent to the next quickly, keeping them off-balance and disoriented as much as possible. In teams, he'll keep an eye out for those playing the
support role and come to their aid if they are pressed. Otherwise, he'll pick out the greatest overall threat and engage it head on, trusting to his
speed and reflexes to keep him safe.
  • Being an android designed with speed in mind, Cyberman 8 has phenomenal reflexes. His nervous system is based on light and the flow of electrons rather
than chemical impulses, therefore his time sense is highly sped up compared to a human. When he switches to combat mode, the world literally slows down in
his perspective, and he can move out of the way of oncoming blows with startling ease. He can further "overdrive" his systems to move even faster,
hit more often and be near untouchable. But he must pay a price for this ability. After a few minutes of this, safeties kick in and his power plant is ramped
down to bare minimum in order to cool off, leaving him vulnerable for about 20 seconds
  • As an android, Cyberman 8 has an affinity for computers, and since his recovery and upgrades, has had datajack ports built into his hands for interfacing
with various types of computer systems. While in "cyberspace" he can assume the guise of his android form or generate a virtual human body. (In
some advanced virtual realms, it is the closest he can come to feeling utterly human again.)
  • His senses are also highly acute. He can hear sounds at both lower and higher frequency ranges than humans. His sight is more acute as well, with both
telescopic and microscopic functions. As well as the ability to see in the infrared and ultraviolet spectrums.
  • The possibility exists for further additions to his systems. And he is working with various cybernetics experts (including Looney Toons ) to plan out
    future upgrades.
  • Peter Brady was an accomplished police detective before his death, and retains those skills and instincts as Cyberman 8. While not a supergenius, his
positronic brain now allows him to sift through mountains of information and intuit connections between pieces of data to come to a conclusion in a fraction
of the time of a normal human.
