I'm not sure if folks remember two toons that I've had over on Justice for years, but haven't really played much because I spend almost all my time on Virtue:
Well, reminded by the video I posted this morning over in General/General, I wandered over to Justice and saved their costume files for future use... and the thought occurred to me:
Does anyone (or four anyones) want to get together with me and create a 5-member SG called "M5 Industries"? I'll hand off one of these two to someone, and we can create Kari, Tory and Grant's counterparts. I've already checked, and the two above are available names on Virtue...
So, what do folks think? Sound like twisted fun?

Could be some low level fun to be had there.
A couple of questions:
Our activities:
"So Jaime, we're down under Paragon City in the sewers, what myth are we testing today?"
If we're in the open, we'll get attention. (Which is rather the point, I would think. ^_^) Do we have a few myth premises and results that we could spout off, both for our amusement and that of any spectators?
"Jaime wants BIG BOOM!"
I assume this would be primarily a low-level "goofing off" team. Not meant for serious leveling and all. On missions, what's the premise? We're testing myths and keep getting interrupted by villains? Or are we testing myths ON the villains? ^_^
What powersets? How close can we get to "appropriate" powersets for the crew? Here's my thoughts:
I don't see either Adam or Jaime as melee people. Tempted to say that Adam's powers could be sonic. Sonic/Devices perhaps? I mean he did manage to break that glass with his voice that one time. ^_^
Jaime's powersets? I'd guess something with a bit of detonation to it. But with some control elements reflecting his cool personality. Psi? Ice? Fire? Not sure.
Tori - agreed he needs to be a tank. Willpower or Invulnerability. ("I'm Okay! I'm fine!")
Kari - I posit some Fire and electricity combo ("High Explosives and Electricity! Wooo!") Either Blaster or Defender.
Grant - Oh c'mon... Isn't this one obvious? MASTERMIND! With ROBOTS! (Yes, I know that would entail a bit of work to bring him across from either the Rogue Isles or Praetoria, but he didn't show up in Mythbusters until the 3rd season anyway. )
If we did this, I'd volunteer to play Jaime, mainly because though I think I have a decent wit, I can't type and use powers at the same time very well. And people expect Jaime to be quieter than Adam.

Yes, this was more for the goofs and for the admiring looks of the other players around us.

Well, my original versions both had words to the effect of "busting the myth that crime pays" in their bios. But it can be however you want to do it.

I could do with Kari, for sure.... I can't really say there's any definitive powerset in mind though. Those three do seem to be working on explosions an awful lot though, so Fire could work.

So, can I assume that there's some small interest in this idea?
And may I suggest that Kari's costume be based on the funky ensemble she was wearing during the final test of the "baby and balloons" myth? Combat boots, fishnet stockings, short plaid skirt, leotard top and bowler hat?
Oh, but if Kari gets guns, what do we want to do with Jamie then?

So... lemme see.
The current group might shake out to:
Adam -- Me
Jamie -- Logan
Tory -- Dark Seraph (if the muse is tempted)
Kari -- Ankhani
Grant -- ??
I'm torn, by the way, between Rifle and Pistols for Kari... either one would be cool. However the first clip above seems to suggest that Rifle would better suit her love of firepower.

And to answer this comment by Logan which I left hanging last night, sure, why not? At the very least we need to have "Busted!" set up as a macro for all the toons, just for general use. And probably a few of each Mythbuster's catchphrases ("Jamie wants big boom!", etc.) as well.
I think I'll set up Adam (probably as Sonic/Devices per Logan's suggestion) some time today, but not take him through the tutorial.
Oh, and Logan, I'll email you Jamie's costume file, to save you a few minutes' work.

Oh, and I suggest that anyone else creating one of these toons follow the naming scheme I used -- so it would be "Mythbuster Tory", etc.
ETA: Creating Adam in Praetoria right now. Will hold off on the Praetorial until we can decide if we want the whole gang to have the same "alignment" or what.

As the operator of R2-D2 for the new trilogy, Grant has to be a Bots MM. I think Tory is the melee guy; he's the one who always gets loaded into the catapults and such. And I believe that this image clinches the assault rifle for Kari:

Got your file, Bob. Did some modifications. One odd thing I noticed right off - I wondered why you made Jamie's skin bone white? I suppose to hide the fact that you can't color or hide the fact that he's got hair with the beret would be my first guess. I decided to just roll with it and use a normal skin tone. I figure that people will 'get' it and let it slide, especially given some of the other things. Changed the top so that he actually has his classic white dress shirt over black shirt combo. (To be fair - you likely did this costume long before these tools became available.) Also did my own take on proportions on the face and body (I tried to give him a bit of a "gut" but the body sliders just don't work that way) and tweaked the color of his pants. And used that new "office belt" they have.
Er... basically took what you gave me as a starting point and did my own, using the new tech. ^^;
What do you think?
