M.I.A. for a few days
07-28-2012, 03:56 PM
So due to a large fire in our building me and roommate are kinda out of a place to live for a few days until the authorities can assess the damage and will let us back in. Given the location of our unit reletive to the fire we should hopefuly only have to deal with water damages, given there was a partial collapse just above our unit we may be kinda outta luck for more than the stated minimum of 24 hours heh. I just hope my computer is alright @_@
So yeah no Terr for a couple days.

Damn, dude. Glad you're okay, and hopefully everything else is too.

Well I'm ok despite regret not busting out some marshmellows while watching the fire, however I do not have offsite storage but I don't exactly have a whole lot of important information to lose. Worst case would be me needing to buy a new system if needed and reinstall my games. Honestly given how close the fire was if some water damage is all we have to deal with I'll call ourselves very fortunate.

Here's hoping the inconvenience is minimal at best, Terr. And like the others, oh yeah, glad to hear you're OK.

Shit man, hope it all turns out okay in the end.

Sorry to hear that your place seems to be totaled, but I'm glad to hear most of your stuff is okay. Good luck on the new housing.

Glad to hear things are (relatively) ok.
And good luck finding a new place to call home.

"Any changes?"
Space Mage looked up from the wraparound security station and shook her head, her purple hair bouncing in exact opposition to her movements. "Nothing!" she exclaimed. "And I mean, this is more nothing than we usually get when Terr gets lost. This is a lot of nothing. Too nothing. It's gotta be a plot!"
Eva nodded. "Okay. Keep looking." She turned to the assembled group, some of the finest superheroes in the city. "Everyone, listen up!" she called.
The chatter died off.
"You all know the situation, I won't waste your time with a lengthy recap. Terrence Knight is missing. We're going to find him, we're going to rescue him, and we're going to make sure whoever took him isn't going to do it again."
A low growl of agreement echoed her words.
"First thing we need to know is where he is. Everyone, get out there and shake down your contacts. Terr has ticked off a lot of groups -- watch your backs. Check with the Warriors first, but don't go alone. I don't think they've forgiven him for that mess he made of their caves last time." She glanced around the group, meeting everyone's eyes quickly. "As soon as you find even so much as a hint of where Terr is, report in to base. Space Mage will be monitoring the situation and providing status updates."
"Operators are standing by!" Space Mage agreed, flashing a thumbs-up without turning away from her displays.
"Okay then," Eva concluded. "Everyone, let's find him."
"I FOUND HIM!" Purrfect Scrapper declared, bouncing up and down frantically and pointing. Her shout was almost, but not quite, drowned out by Emerald Blast's "TERR!" as the green-clad Amazon launched herself in a tackle-hug.
Terrence Knight grunted in surprise and took a step back as Rhea plowed into him. He was bedraggled and dirty, soaking wet and trailing wisps of smoke at the same time, and looked exhausted as he stepped down from the main entrance platform.
"Ewww!" Rhea declared after her hug was complete. She scooted back and hovered in midair, brushing at the black streaks of grime on her costume. "Terr, you're filthy."
Eva cut through the general chorus of greeting, and said, "Terr, glad to see you're back. We've been worried about you. Where have you been?"
Terr heaved a deep sigh. "Well," he began, and trailed off. He looked around, then shook his head. "Never mind. Just... don't ask, okay? It's a long story."

Annd Mini update. Waiting on new modem to come since the old one here at dad's place has the wireless portion borked. Been tryin to connect on my laptop that I picked up but after talkin with a tech for nearly an hour we came to the conclusion that old modem is borked and new one is in the mail. Now with luck in 2-3 buissness days I'll be on my laptop which I'm hoping will be able to support Coh on minimal graphics so I can at least log on and say hi and whatnot untill my computer is back from the shop.
