Another Kaiju song
Another Kaiju song
#1
I'm not sure if this ones been brought up before

The Creatures - Godzilla!
I never wanted a spinning top
I used to swing a riding crop
I never wanted a stupid doll
I used to swing a tomahawk
And then I saw him and I was won
Godzilla, King Kong
Godzilla
He trashes cars
Godzilla
He's not from Mars
He'll knock you down
Godzilla
He eats big towns
I like the way he jumps up and down
I like the way he shakes the ground
He's even better when he's annoyed
He breaths out fire and makes this noise
I'd like to hold him in my arms
I'd never let him come to harm
Godzilla
He trashes cars
Godzilla
He's not from Mars
Godzilla
He'll knock you down
Godzilla
He eats big towns

Godzilla
Ha
Godzilla
Ha
What is that?
What is this?
A giant Monster
But he's so sweet!
When I'm in Tokyo or Japan
I'm always thinking its his land
The other toys are second best
Godzilla, I love him best
Godzilla
He trashes cars
Godzilla
He's not from Mars
Godzilla
He'll knock you down
Godzilla
He eats the towns
Godzilla
He trashes cars
Godzilla
He's not from Mars
Godzilla
He'll knock you down
Godzilla
He eats big towns

I dunno, given those lyrics it might just manifest a foot-tall rubber Godzilla doll.
Although, imagine if it were animate and had all the abilities of the "real" thing...

That, I could see Doug using for a laugh... Though even teeny tiny Thermonuclear Death Breath is nothing to scoff at - essentially this would be a 'summon self-mobile super cutting/welding torch' effect.

Okay, there has just been continuing demand by fans for a Godzilla song. I think that perhaps the best solution to the various Godzilla songs that have been proposed would be this:
Their use does indeed invoke a Godzilla simulacrum with all the traditional Godzilla powers. And it's basically impossible to control, just like the real Godzilla.
BUT, the simulacrum is the size of a man in a rubber suit, and with the powers scaled down proportionately.
If Doug ever needed to fight Lilliput, the Smurfs, or a bunch of model railroaders, this would be the song to use. But it's somewhat dangerous (radioactive fire breath is nothing to sneeze at -- you'll get nasty burns and cancer!) not to mention rather embarrassing, which would be why he probably would never use it for real. Or even reveal that the songs do anything.
A good example of the potential for hilarity can be seen in the film "One Crazy Summer."

Oh yeah, Bobcat Goldthwait stuck in the suit and thrashing his way through the scale model of the housing development... that's one fun movie.
