Who, no doubbt, told her about all the glorious things that would happen with the world under Lord Ravana's control, without really mentioning quite how messy and distateful getting rid of the current occupants is, until they dissappeared after one too many defeats. Given the nature of her underlings and co-workers, she's not all that sure about the likelihood of the promised golden age of prosperity and happiness, either, when most of them seem to be perfectly happy running wild to spread slaughter and mayhem, and almost as glad to do it to each other.
Mr. Tengu, BTW, is, IMHO, probably the most dangerous of the Four Directions - he's smart without An Liu's crippling arrogance, he's quite adequately dangerous himself, when properly motivated, and most importantly, he's the only one who's got a real -army- rather than a horde of disposable minions. Fortunately for our good guys, he's really already -got- everything he wants, which means that his support for the armageddon operations is only a little less pro forma than Maeve's.
