Whether or not Auntie is letting her call on her for the chuunin exam after the first test (it's supposed to be a test for USAGI, after all, not a jounin with decades of experience - the first test being exempt because the whole point is to realise you need to cheat and not get caught) depends on wther I need her or not, and whether I need her to win.

In Serenity's place, I'd be inclined to permit it - after all, Kuchiyose no Jutsu is kosher, as is Kage Bunshin, and they're both built around the principle of subbing a heavier/more expendible hitter in for the primary ninja. The usual 'within your abilities' limitation would still apply, of course, but otherwise, the posession trick is a standard part of the Tsukino arsenal, just like, oh, the Nara clan's Kagemane.
But you're quite correct - what Serenity thinks of the matter will depend on what the plot demands.
(Personally, BTW, I think that the first test is actually about whether or not the kids can pick up the subtle clues and/or cues that Ibiki or another examiner will scatter throughout their directions, but even bringing Sere up in the first place would mean that Usagi got enough of the message, so...)
