"quite" and "quiet" has been pissing me off lately. The sad thing is, so many of these type of errors are relatively easy to spot if you *actually go back and read what you wrote*. I know, I know, that's a pretty radical expectation, but still.
Have you seen that "test" where you're given written text with many letters missing, yet you can still read it with little difficulty? That's what's happening there - the brain is presenting what should be as opposed to what is.Jeanne
