I recall a fanfic where Buffy and Cyclops are cousins.  Actually as I recall, that fic also has Joyce being a fair bit older than she looks and the child of Sabertooth and Mystique.

Buffy, Scott, Jamie... Maybe Mary Ann begged the Professor to not fix the boat because she couldn't survive returning to the rest of her family!
