Rob, you hit this one right on the nose. Quick Stone is going to be The Boss type. He will not settle for anything less than being The Man, and he is dangerously ambitious. And it is all fueled by an insane desire to be better than his little cousin - even if that means the two must come to blows.
It will really be hurtful for Zeke because he genuinely loves Quick Stone. For Zeke, Quick Stone represents a big-brother type. And while he had positive male role models in his father and grandfather, Quick Stone was simply more accessible from a child's perspective.
When he initially shows up, I'd definitely rank his Danger Level at around that of Gauron's. But he won't be associated with Mythril just yet. He'll have come into his 'new power' and he'll be just getting a feel for it... so he goes and finds the best stick to measure himself by: Zeke.
After Zeke (barely?) defeats him, he'll probably get chastised by his chaos-corrupted deity, and then put on a sever power restriction until he can learn to do more with less as Zeke seems to have done so. And this would be what prompts him to turn to other sources like Amalgam, Doom Phantom, Haposai, rival Oni Warlords, etc.
And Deadpan... I am definitely planning on making this epic like a Greek Tragedy... only without the whole rocks-fall-everyone-dies theme. There'll be death, there will be the skirting of the edge of Grim Dark... but no 'Tastes Like Dirt' moments.
