Yes and No.  Personae are a manifestation of the user's soul, and thus can engage in celestial combat.  However, The P4 characters don't even know that Celestial Combat is possible- they don't realize that the attack that Perma-Killed Izanami was not just extremely powerful, but a whole different kind of attack than say, stabbing her with a knife.  The fact that summoning a persona makes one vulnerable to Celestial attacks is going to come as a very nasty surprise to Inaba Scoobies.
