On top of that, magecraft is a finite resource; if letting other people learn your spells makes them weaker (on top of letting them figure out how to counter them), you have a powerful incentive to be a paranoid, secretive recluse, which can't be good for the scruples.And a movie anime of the second timeline, with the third apparently in production, as far as I know.
