The spell you did use here... I'm reminded of Bahamut's super in FFX, with the traverse from Valefor's more powerful alternate one. Of course, there's lots of instances of someone using a super-beam like a fire hose, but the turbine thing made it spring to mind, with how Bahamut's wheely-thing goesnuts with the spinning as it charges.
And no auto-IFF? how slack of you, Imma! Obviously you need to put more effort into your divination studies. It's the most powerful school of magic, after all... though even you might have trouble with generating enough power to make a warp across time to poke a magical sensor through and observe the past or the future the brute force way (since subtlety is right out) there's all of the present to explore.
