So is anyone else reading the Bleach Quest? (spoilers are the point)

Okay.  If the point you're talking about is the point I think you're talking about...

Ichigo succeeds awesomely at putting on his mask, and gets a brand new power/effect that buffs his dice rolls while in the mask.  Funky meta-stuff ensues where someone gets confused about how to roll, rolling a 20 in the wrong way, Cosgrove offers a devils bargain to get the 20 back.  There is a *great* *deal* *of* *angst* about whether or not to take it (eventually people decide not to).  Ichigo holds on, as the spiritual pressure from Chizuru increases to really terribly destructive levels.  Ichigo tries to suck out the energy with Quincy powers, is reasonably successful, but gets way too much, can't channel it, and is in danger of being ripped apart before Chizuru sucks it all back (and is now in obvious great pain) and begs Ichigo to end her so that she doesn't destroy significant chunks of city.  Ichigo Takes A Third Option and drags her into the "safe place for hollows" that he has access to but knows very little about.  It ends up being a featureless desert, and gives her a place to just let the power vent.  She does so, which is Very Impressive and takes a Long Time.  (Ichigo backs way off, and keeps his mask on).  Eventually it fades and she collapses.  Ichigo's mask falls off and he has now completely exhausted every power he has.
