Tonight, though, my passenger-side-rear-leaf spring decided to give out when I swerved to avoid a homeless man that stepped out into the street. I'm just waiting for one of the steering wheels to drop off because the upper control arm bushings are shot and have needed replacement for a while, but I haven't been able to afford the parts yet. I was going to get them soonish, but now... Let's just say I am officially Murphy's Bitch. -_-;
Allow me to respond to each of you in order.
Massive ouch. I feel for you, there.
(This isn't even getting into the fact that I had to do a clutch job on said truck... first time ever, on my own, never even seen it done before, had to research on YouTube... you get the picture. Before THAT it was the radiator that needed to be replaced because the plastic cracked and it was leaking, and before that one of the rear axle bearing-seals that was letting differential fluid into the driver's side brake drum, and before that it was the alternator going bad on me...)
