My brother found an interesting Harry Potter fic and I had to take a look for myself. Why?
Because it deconstructs the idea of soul bonds using a Harry-Ginny pairing. And it does it very well! (Let's put it this way - just because you can read the other person's mind doesn't mean you have automatic understanding!)
Best of all, there's no character bashing. Even Macnair, the executioner, gets some excellent development. My only complaint is that Madame Maxime is all but absent, and Voldemort's madness has been... slightly tweaked. Oh, and automatic spell-checker errors abound! And it's slow to update.
Otherwise, there's a lot of hilarity to be had, and it stayed interesting all the way through.
