Also check if your motherboard has a Nforce firmware if it has version 4 you might as well chuck the board, it will be less pain to replace the motherboard again than to live with it. Earlier versions are ok, and later versions have partial fixes, so it's worth checking if there are firmware updates for the motherboard available.
