If you're going to change power supplies, you might be interested in the ones from Hiper. (Assuming you can get past their ads with the Penthouse girls in them, and look at the hardware itself...) They have a line of power supplies with built-in USB hubs, apparently so you can plug in those power-hungry perhiperals without putting a load on the motherboard.
