Being able to read minds is not necessarily advantage when dealing with people who believe what they say is true.

So is he a fanatic?....willing to blow apart Magica Mundus in order to save it? It's also a trope that having deep held beliefs (and willing
to act on them) that's opposed to the others does not make you evil.
