Would anyone care to put a small wager on the odds that how Spielberg/the scriptwriters screw it up will include an explicit romance between
Motoko and Batou? With the "happy ending" Ebony worries about? I'm not saying that the romance option would, of
necessity, ruin the story -- but the way it's handled could and probably will.
