I think one of the major advantages that Otome had over Hime in terms of storytelling was that they did a better job of keeping your attention focused on the
major characters.

won't find it..."), Shiho's dumped the Clingy Jealous Girl act entirely(albeit because Yuichi's VA got himself canned for spoiling the end of
Hime), and Shizuru litereally had her psychotic side surgically removed and turned into another character entirely(poor Tomoe, I can't help but make jokes
at her expense.)
Of course, Mai and Mikoto suffer alternatively, in that their roles are shrunk considerably, which is especially bad for poor Mai whose name is even in the
title of the show. :lol:
