It wouldn't be the first or the tenth time I missed or forgot something significant.

I'm not criticizing Otome!Mai's decision to stick with Mikoto rather than her previous scheduled career or even her dynastic obligations, though,
merely her failure to provide even the most trivial reassurance to those left behind.
