Aside from the obvious animation style in the brief character shots of Captain Avatar/Okita and Wildstar/Kodai, I'd say this is proof positive that an
absolutely STRAIGHT live action version of Star Blazers/Uchu Senkan Yamato would be THE BOMB!!!
