My problem with Gameguard is that it *really* fucks with your system. It hides processes, which can cause problems - on one of my older computers, the fans
were controlled by a program that stepped them up pre-emptively in relation to the last 30s of load, instead of waiting for temperature. GG made the computer
think it was IDLE when it was using 100% load. The list of things it screws around with is quite extensive.
Compared to GG, SecuROM is kid's stuff, and far less offensive.
