Sir Patrick Stewart
Sir Patrick Stewart
#1
He has played kings, princes, captains and professors on stage and screen, but now actor Patrick Stewart will have a new title all his own:
"Sir."

So begins the story I just saw on CNN.com - Patrick Stewart is receiving a knighthood (an OBE to be precise). He is on the New Year's hono(u)rs list,
released by Britain's Cabinet Office on Thursday.

Here's a link to the story on CNN.com: http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/Movies/ ... index.html

Here's a link to a story about "Arts" honors on BBC.com: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainmen ... 434903.stm (if you go
here, you will find links to PDF files for the entire list)
