on the topic of distorted body images: I'm not sure if dove had a similar campaign in Australia, but I think that more beauty companies need to do things like this.

On the topic of the law: This is the kind of thing that sounds like a good idea on the surface (child porn bad!) but once you take a second/deeper look at it, it can only go wrong. Japan had a similar effect when they outlawed pubic hair in porn. I've read more than one paper that linked that law to the whole meme of 'tentacle porn on schoolgirls' issue.

but dragging this back to the general topic. ya this is going to be a bucket of fail, and if we are lucky it won't screw up the self image of girls down under.
