- Run virus scan.
- Go to Safe Mode and run virus scan.
- Go to Safe Mode, re-install anti-virus software, and run virus scan.
- Wipe drive, re-install OS and programs, re-install anti-virus software, restore data from clean backup (you do back up your data, and you have tested the restore function to ensure the backup isn't write-once-read-never, right?), and run virus scan
- Wipe drive, wipe BIOS, re-install BIOS, re-install OS and programs, re-install anti-virus software, restore data from clean backup, and run virus scan.
- Buy a new computer, install OS and programs, install anti-virus software, restore data from clean backup, and run virus scan.
