Haven't seen any of these, and I've been using DeFFNetizer to slurp down fics to put in my Kindle (via calibre -- the two play very nicely together, I discovered last night). I use Seamonkey, the open source equivalent of the old Netscape suite built around Firefox and Thunderbird etc., and I have Noscript installed (but not Adblock).
