Why? because Frys has a brick and mortar location near where I live now, I have the skillz, and I am despareatly dissatisfied with the Gateway and dell websites. NewEgg does not have a B&M location near me (heck, fairly sure that like Amazon the only B&M location is their central warehouse!)
Secondary consideration: Future upgrade compatibilty, I want to be able to replace/upgrade components to keep this system at least serviceable as the state of the art evolves past it. for as long as possible.
Which, btw, is why there's a monitor in there as well. Granted its not HUGE, but at the moment I'm running a VERY old E-machines 14" vga that cant handle more than 1024x760
Comments, thoughts, suggestions on stuff i've totally overlooked and will come back to bite me in the near future?
